Susan Lynn Wilson
Class of 1970
Marine Corps, 2 Years
Susan graduated from the strict and difficult training U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot, Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC. She then went to the Communications Military Occupation School at San Diego, CA. During her tour of duty she was stationed at Marine Corps Supply Depot as a U.S. Postal Mail Clerk, where she was selected as the model for that field during Marine Corps Photo Operations. She met and married her (now deceased) husband, Corporal JD Terry, which they then had a daughter (Brandi) born at Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA. Susan was discharged at that time as a PFC. he is now married to Terry Pettis (also a Veteran; Sergeant, USMC). Susan's family: father, Lee R. Wilson, two brothers Ronald and Kenneth, and husbands, proudly and honorably served their Country as U.S. Marines.
