He participated in many activities In his senior year. He volunteered to fight in World War II as soon as he was old enough. Jim was a radioman on the USS Coaster's Harbor until Nov 1945 but never saw active duty. He had two half sisters (Class of 1957 and Class of 1958) . After the war he attended art classes the Los Angeles Art Museum and exhibited a piece of art. He worked for the gas company in San Diego but eventually ended up in the restaurant business and owned The Clock Garden Restaurant for many years. Lived in San Francisco and Monterey, vacationed in Puerto Vallarta, and retired to Palm Springs. He is survived by a sister and two step children.
