I was friends with Christine. She was a beautiful girl with thought of becoming a model. Sadly, she had a brain tumor and they had to shave off her beautiful long brown hair. Unfortunately, the tumor returned as was what eventually killed her. The last time I saw her was on a trip I took back to Mount Lebanon. Her hair was still short from the original surgery but she was still beautiful. She was driving this cute Volkswagen beetle that really suited her personality. She wanted to come to California to visit me and see all the sights in LA. I heard of her death from friends. The next time I flew to Pittsburgh to visit my parents, I went to see her mom and dad. They were still devastated but glad to see I remembered her and came to visit them. It is so sad that such a sweet, happy, beautiful life was lost so young. I still think of her sometimes and wish she had lived to realize all her dreams.
