About Me	Life challenged me from the day I was born. I was born with a congenital birth defect. Hyper-teleorism with a mid-face cleft. In laymens terms my right nostril was open and my forehead incomplete allowing my brain to push out. As a result my head was also wider than normal and my eyes never learned to work together properly. To this day both work well but never together unless I concentrate. Most ball sports are out as I have no depth perception. Today when new people meet me most think I have been in a car wreck or bad fight. The plastic surgeons did a incredible job of reshaping my face into a normal looking way. I had five surgeries over my first 15 1/2 years with the last two done in Boston, MA. and I'm proud to say I'm all me meaning no plates or screws remain in me. As a result of all that I had a rough time as a kid from time to time. I ended up with a lot of true life long friends along the way that I always knew had my back if I needed it. When I make a friend I make that friend forever! Of course life puts us on different paths and people lose contact but if someone comes back into my picture down the road I welcome them back with open arms. As a person I'm the true Cancer. While I don't believe in day to day astrology its pegged me as a person. I listen well and usually let people vent their whoas on me. I can be moody and have a firery temper when provoked. I have some charm and know how to use my puppy dog eyes. I've often been refered to as a big teddy bear. I tend to live in the past and wonder how I got someplace from ten years ago or more. This leads me to being busy making memories today so I can ponder them in the future. Its probably why I like to camp, travel, hike, and take pictures so much. I live to be in, around, or near water! My favorite sport is hydroplane racing and I've been called a fish out of water as long as I can remember. These days I'm a busy married father of two boys who are as goofy as me. In the end my friends and family will tell you I'm funny with a dry wit, tenacious when I set my mind to something, and wise beyond my years. I'm still trying to fig...(read more)
