We are having a 35th reunion at Grevey's in Falls Church, VA. on 09/26/15 from 6pm to 11pm. This event will be opened to classmates and guests (over 21 due to serving of alcoholic beverages). This is s joint Fort Hunt HS / Mt. Vernon HS event in its third year for all classes of the 1970s. It is more than half Ft. Hunt, but last time I was there I saw many Mr. Vernon HS people there. This is music all day by bands made up of mostly alumni of that era, picnics and beer BYOB. This is a public event for classes of the early 1970s. Just bring whatever you want to drink, eat or sit on.

I wanted to update everyone on the reunion. As many know we had to cancel the classmate only event at The Wharf due to the venue not capping another reunion. We weren’t sure if we would be able to find another place so close to the date but Karol (Works) Moore and Mike Moore have located the perfect venue for Friday night. I know many were coming in on Friday to attend both events so I wanted to get this letter out to you soon of the changes. The new location is Grevey’s Sports Bar 8130 Arlington Boulevard Falls Church, VA 22042-1025 (703) 560-8530. The time is still 7pm to 11pm and very casual dress so wear shorts if you like. As for Saturday everything is still the same but we have lowered the dress code to anything but shorts or flip flops per venue request.
