Bruce W. Bowman, 45, of Novelty, died February 15, 2000, in Novelty. He was born October 27, 1954 to Donald and Joan Bowman who survive.
He was a former resident of Mt. Gilead and a 1973 graduate of Mt. Gilead High School. He was formerly pastor at the Pulaskiville Community Bible Church and was currently serving as senior pastor at the Riverview Church in Novelty, a position he had held for six years.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Ferree; three children, Brooke, Lisa and Bradley, all of Novelty; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel (Kathy), Brian (Dianne) and Michael (Monique); two sisters, Sharon Ringle and Susan Harter (Bart); nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held February 19 at the Riverview Church. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
