I finished school at Mn State - Mankato, June 1963, draft status 1!. I had affiliated with the inactive reserve (Marine//Navy), 1962, planning to go into flight training, after graduation. I//we began flight training Oct 1963, getting my wings in May, 1965, which included all facets of Naval aviation, with a discharge in October 1968. I remained with the Navy reserve, retiring July 1983, attaining the rank of Commander, a gratifying second career, augmenting my primay career as an airline pilot with Northwest Airlines (NWA)// now Delta.

Our Mound Westonka High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Mound Westonka High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
