Michelle Brady (Mathews)
Class of 1995
Army, 6 Years
I served as a 91K, a Medical Lab Technician. I worked at the Army Burn Unit, as well as in animal research. I spent my entire enlistment in San Antonio, TX. I really loved it, but was pregnant with my son and my husband and I had orders overseas - for different locations. I decided then to get out, but I don't regret a minute of it. I made a lot of friends, learned a lot of really cool stuff (shooting guns, throwing grenades), and grew up a lot.

Electronic Technician, worked on radar, radio, fathometer, radar repeaters (all electronics on 5 ships (except sonar). Served on 4 minesweepers and one troop transport. Schools were in San Francisco, CA, Vallejo, CA, Portsmouth, VA. Shore duty at Key West, FL. Served 1956 to 1965 and medically retired in 1965.
