About	Shawn Kevin Lyons, aged 65, died suddenly at his home in Kilbuck Township on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Virginia Lyons; father of Jennifer (Lyons) Zimmerman and her husband Travis Zimmerman, Ashley Lyons, Travis Lyons and his fiancee Olivia Rodriguez; brother of Glynnis Jayne Lyons, DO, Hodge Lyons, Leslie Lyons, PhD and Greer (Lyons) Thottam; pappy to Blayne and Zoey Zimmerman and Lucy Lyons. He was the son of the late Glenn "Toby" Lyons and the late Evelyn (Milas) Lyons. Shawn was a fiercely devoted family man. He touched the lives of so many individuals throughout his life by being active in the community and he cared deeply for his loyal friends. Memorial contributions are suggested locally to the Avonworth Eagles Youth Football League. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 13th, 2017 from 6 - 8 pm at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home located at 529 California Ave, Avalon, PA 15202.
