Linda M. Peterson, 69 of Moon Twp., passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2017. She was born in McKeesport on July 8, 1948 the daughter of the late Wilbur and Flora Mockel. She was a retired elementary art teacher from Moon School District. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Robinson Twp.
She is survived by her brother: Wayne (Cindy) Mockel; a brother-in-law: Lynn (Janet) Peterson, a mother-in-law Dorothy White; niece and nephew: Lindsey Rodriguez Mockel and Wade Derek Mockel; and a great niece and nephew: William Dexter Mockel and Leah Nora Rodriguez Mockel
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday July 21, 2017 at 11 am in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts Rd.) conducted by her pastor, Rev. Billy Younger
Private interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Union Presbyterian Church Building fund. 6165 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136
