About	Jeffrey D. Hyre, 58, formerly of Center Twp., passed away peacefully Sunday, July 15, 2012, at home. Born February 15, 1954, in Clarksburg, WV, he was a son of Frances Hyre, of Crescent and the late John Hyre. Jeff was employed at Westinghouse and later at US Airways as a machinist. He also served the public as a Crescent policeman, volunteer fireman and as a deputy for the PA Fish and Game Commission. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Brenda (Cutright) Hyre; four sons, Jeff, Jr. of Lancaster, Aaron of Rising Sun, Md., Benjamin in Ramstein, Germany and Matthew of Crescent; five grandchildren; four brothers, Terry and Randy, both of Parkersburg, WV, Tim of Coraopolis and Lenny of Raccoon Twp. and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-728-4000). Rev. Dave Toddy, Pastor of Brush Creek Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.
