| About | John V. “Jack” Kennelly, 82, of Hopewell Township, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 23, 1943, in Homestead, PA he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Conroy) Kennelly. Jack was a 1962 graduate of Moon Area High School and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne for six years. He was employed as a machinist at J&L Steel, Aliquippa, and Pittsburgh Forgings, Coraopolis. Following his retirement, he was employed at Gateway Rehabilitation in their maintenance department. Jack spent many years as a coach for Hopewell Youth Baseball and Our Lady of Fatima Boys Basketball. He was an active member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, Our Lady of Fatima Church, where he volunteered at parish festivals, fish frys, other fundraising events, and as a funeral altar server. In recent years, he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he cherished. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Nadine (Kozuch) Kennelly; three children, John (Leah) Kennelly, Bob (Krisha) Kennelly, and Andrea Landry; his grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie) Landry, Kevin Kennelly, Sophia Kennelly, Zachary Landry, Evan Kennelly, and Sean Kennelly; a brother Dan (Gladys) Kennelly; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kennelly, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jim Landry, and his siblings, Anna Mae Tierney, Jim Kennelly, and Ed “Red” Kennelly. |
| Events | Friends will be received Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4pm until 7pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA 15001, where the Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors Friday, February 6, 2026, at 9:15am. A prayer service will follow at 9:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial being offered at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Hopewell Township. Private entombment will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hopewell Township. |
