About	Leonard E. Boggs, “Lenny,” 51, worked the land with his hands, a down-to-earth man, a hard worker who balanced work and pleasure, who took time to enjoy his family and friends, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was born in Kennedy Township to Leonard Earl Boggs and the late Rosemarie (Perrott) Boggs. In addition to his father, he is the beloved husband to Tammy (Brill) who he married on July 17, 1999; loving father of Charles P. Boggs and Lauren (Tyler Mitchell) L. Boggs; half-brother of John (Chris) Folino. Lenny grew up in Moon Township, graduating in 1991 from Moon Area High School. He worked for Moon Schools as a custodian and worked in the warehouse for Knickerbocker. Lenny was a member of Hopewell VFW Post 8805 where he participated in corn hole competitions and relaxing with a game of horseshoes. Lenny’s proud legacy was being part of the 4-generation family farm, living an American Dream, where they raised horses and gardened more than a mile and a half of their property. They produced homemade canned goods as well as loads of home-grown vegetables. Lennys passion was quad riding, listening to Rock and Country Music, and fishing. He loved being with friends and family. It was a standard quote for Lenny, “let’s have everybody over.,” where they would just get together, enjoy sitting around the firepit and appreciate the sense of togetherness.
Events	Visitation Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM.
