About Dennis (Denny) passed away in his beloved Atlanta, Georgia home. He is survived by his beloved daughters Shannon and Katelyn, as well as his sister Cheryl and his many friends and coworkers.

Denny was VP of Group Sales for John Hancock and his territory was the entire eastern seaboard.
Denny was the rock of his family and a generous and deeply loving person. His sense of humor was a gift he gladly shared and his laughter was quiet but shoulder--moving. He was the light in any room he entered. Denny was renown for his fold-you-in-his-arms-hugs. He was a brilliant problem -solver both in business and with those he loved. With his dazzling blue eyes, he could lighten hearts as well as thousand-person venues when he gave a speech as VP for John Hancock. Denny changed lives for the better, always seeing the best in people. At 6'4" he was a commanding presence and gave the greatest hugs.
Events Denny played softball for Moon until arthritis stopped him in ninth grade. His hero was Roberto Clemente.

Classmate Memories

Cheryl (cher) Donovan '65 posted a photo:

He was the most loving brother, son, and father I've ever known. He was a tender soul, always giving, counseling and guiding those he loved. His sense of humor was incomparable and he loved making others laugh. He shouldered many hardships in his life but carried on with great dignity. He was also one of the most intelligent people I have ever known

Alas, when he lived someone, he shouldered their burdens as though they were his own. He was Christ-like in forgiving those who hurt him Forgiveness was an imperative for him He will always be remembered for his Christ -ljke forgiveness . I know he rests in the arms of The Lord.
