About	Kenneth N. Goodnight passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. He was the beloved husband of Jacquelyn Johnson-Goodnight and stepfather of Irvin and Antonio Johnson. Raised in Moon Township, he graduated from Moon High School in 1970. He relocated to attend Strayer College in Washington, D.C. where he began his 34-year career in the federal government, spending his last 25 years with the Department of Defense. Mr. Goodnight received the Medal of Valor for his unselfish acts of heroism during the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva Brice-Goodnight and Willard Goodnight, Sr. He is survived by loving siblings, Willard Goodnight Jr. (Jacqueline), David Goodnight (Patricia), Evyonne Martin (David), Ercell Martin (Douglas) and twin sister, Beverly Goodnight. He was laid to rest on Sept. 27, 2007 in Silver Spring, Md., where he was eulogized by his nephew, the Rev. Marlon Martin of Pittsburgh. Reprinted from The Record
