About	John Frederick Sullivan passed away June 9 in Melbourne, FL. Born November 3, 1944, John was the son of Timothy Sullivan and Norma Burger Sullivan. Also known as Fred, he graduated from Moon High School in Pennsylvania in 1962 and attended Penn State University, majoring in hotel and restaurant management. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in Germany during the Vietnam War. In 1973, John married Barbara Speidel, who predeceased him. John had an interesting and varied career, managing hotels and restaurants from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, to Los Alamos, NM, and Las Vegas, NV, the government sites requiring high level clearance. But to family and friends, he was simply and affectionately known as a “foodie.” He retired in 2013 from National Securities Technologies in Nevada and moved to Titusville, FL. John is survived by a sister, Carol Sullivan, of Lansdowne, PA, eight nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. His brother Tim and sister Betsy Tillman predeceased him. Services to be held at a later date.
