About	Mark R. Boni, 64, a life-long resident of Moon Township, passed away peacefully, with his sisters present, on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Heritage Valley Sewickley from a fierce raging battle with cancer. Mark was born in Kennedy Township on October 31, 1956 to the late Donald and Carmella (Girmonti) Boni. Mark was a member of St. Joseph Church and was a 1975 graduate of Moon Twp. Mark had been the Food and Beverage Manager for the Ramada Inn Airport and later was the Banquet Bartender for the Embassy Suites. Mark loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. Mark was an avid Steeler’s Fan and had a soft spot for all animals. Mark is the beloved brother of Dona Longstreth (former spouse Stephen) and Joelene Maslanik (Bill); cherished half-brother of John Ballard, Bob Brunson, Rick Brunson and half-sister Kathi Bland; plus many loving nieces and nephews; special cousins Jimmy & Karen Boni and Bruce Boni along with other cousins; his loving aunt, Joan Boni; best friends Rick Payne, Richard McCutcheon, Billy Polizotto, Dean Kitson as well as many other loving friends; and finally, his well-loved cat, “Kitty”, who preceded him in death. Mark was a quiet, kind, mild mannered man, walking this earth as a gentle soul. He will be greatly missed by his devoted sisters whose hearts are incredibly sad. Visitation Friday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave., where a Blessing Service will be on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
