About	Frank A. “Tag” Tagliaferi, Sr., 75, of Lansdale, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 after a long brave fight with cancer. He was the loving husband of Cynthia (Wilgus) Tagliaferi. Born August 25, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Fred and Annie (Supon) Tagliaferi. Frank was a parishioner at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Audubon. He studied Engineering at Bucknell University. During his career he worked at Boeing and Mobil Oil in various engineering capacities. Tag was a long-time car enthusiast whose interest and collection thru the years included Ford, Austin Healey, Porsche, and Plymouth. He was very much a “hands on” car guy who also enjoyed competition track driving and car shows. In addition, he was a passionate outdoorsman throughout his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed shooting sports and gunsmithing as well. Frank’s greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted Husband and Father. Later in life, his greatest joy was his Grandchildren. Tag will be remembered for his laughter and his smile around his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and genuinely enjoyed helping solve problems and issues, esp. if it gave him an excuse to get out his tools. Everyone who knew him also knew “Mr. Tag will know how to fix it…” whenever they had a problem that needed a wrench. Tag’s Legacy will be that he was the kind of person that truly made the world a better place to be by helping others. His simply never said “no” to his friends and family, and was the kind of man that would help a stranger with a broken car in a parking lot. Along with his wife he is survived by two children, Frank A. Tagliaferi, Jr. (Julie), of Louisville, KY, and Michael A. (Amy) Tagliaferi, of Horsham; grandchildren, Cameron, Jack, Sean and Daniel; siblings, Fred Tagliaferi (Dolores), of Laporte, Indiana, David Tagliaferi, of Indianapolis, IN, and Donald Tagliaferi (Jan), of Pittsburgh; brother-in-law, Bill Wilgus (Dawn), of Cumberland, MD, along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends starting 9 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, with the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
