About	McCARRIHER EDWARD J., SR. Age 77, a lifelong resident of Moon Township, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Sewickley, PA on July 14, 1934 to the late Edward Marvin and Harriet (Cain) McCarriher. On Nov. 7, 2001, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 37 years, Marietta (Millie) McCarriher; loving father of Edward J. McCarriher (Sherry) of Moon Twp., John Cummings (Susan) of Shelby, NC, and Michael Cummings of Moon Twp.; cherished grandfather of Brandy McCarriher, John R. Cummings III (Laurie), Jacob Cummings, Meredith Cummings and Amy Kompa (Ted); also many well-loved great-grandchildren. Edward was a commercial artist for 28 years with Service Engraving Co. and 17 years with U.S. Airways. He was a member of St. Philips Church, West Hills Art League, NRA and the US Airways Retirees. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and carving birds. Visitation Friday 2-4, 7-9 at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd., where service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Eric Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
