Born August 12, 1925 in Sewickley son of the late Clifford and Gladys (White) Combs; Husband of Grace (Lottes) Combs; father of Kathleen (the late Richard) Downey of Lynchburg, VA and Jeanette (Frank) Frabotta of San Diego, Ca; grandfather of Renee (Eric) Hyde, Mark (Virginia) Downey, Jennifer (Joseph) Morales, Christina (Jonathan) Hokenson, and Mallonee (Paul) Erickson; Great Grandfather of Landon Morales, Harper Grace Downey and Ruby & Violet Erickson; brother of the late Dorothy Trimber and Jean Dunn Nussbaumer; He was a 1943 graduate of Moon High School, a navy veteran of World War II and operated Wendell’s Homecraft in Ambridge from 1966-1984 and worked with WR Jackson Estate in Sewickley Heights for 15 yrs and Nanitcoke Homes and Custom Decorative Moulding in Greenville, DE.
