Graduation Year Class of 1955
Date of Passing Aug 16, 2018
About Lloyd E. Guiliani age 81 passed away peacefully on August 16, 2018 at his home in Moon Township assisted by his wife and love of his life, Anna Guiliani and his family. He was born on April 30, 1937 in Coraopolis, a son of the late Leno and Julia (Stary) Guiliani. He graduated from Moon High School in 1955.Always with a quick smile and laugh, Lloyd could light up a room with his humor and joking. He generously gave his time and talents to all who needed help. There wasn’t a car or machine he couldn’t fix, and he used that skill to help many family members and friends over the years. He was “coach” for the Yankees – the little league team where he taught his kids and many more how to play the game. He loved spending time with Anna visiting family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, flying his radio-controlled airplanes and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted son, loving husband, dad, pap, Bisabuelo, cuz, friend, buddy and many more to all he touched in his life.

Sunday dinners for Lloyd were always filled with good Italian food, laughter and family. Numerous gatherings were also shared in the family homes for holidays, picnics and special events. Christmas was especially fun for Lloyd and Anna when they decorated the house inside and out to the delight of family and friends. You could clap your hands and all the animated figures would start moving, singing or playing music. He spent most of his career at US Airways (27 years) working in different positions with most of his time as a machinist in the machine shop. He got his first jobs working with his dad Leno in his home auto / lawn mower repair business and then at Islay’s making the legendary “Skyscraper” cones and serving Chipped Chopped Ham and Old-Fashioned Ice Cream. He worked two jobs for many years and never ran out of energy. He also worked at J&L Steel in Aliquippa; Buhl Planetarium as operator of the sky show projector and for the miniature railroad and village; Moon School District as bus driver; self-employed with his own snow plowing business; and the Felician Sisters Convent & Monastery in Moon Township as the maintenance supervisor. Lloyd was a loving, caring and devoted husband to his wife Anna (Iacobucci) Guiliani, loving father of Lloyd (Robin) Guiliani Jr, Richard Guiliani, and Julie (Jon) Oberdick; cherished grandfather (pap) of Jocelyn, Clarissa, Michael, Megan, Jonathan, Nicky, Kelsey and Timmy; proud great-grandfather of Damian, Micaela, Belen, Zepha, Samantha, Delilah, Audrey, Jaxon, Quinn, Lochlan, Toby, Dante and Dominic; brother of Evelyn (Bernard) Vavrek and beloved to many cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and friends. Visitation will be at Copeland Moon Twp. Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road Sunday, Aug 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM where Prayers will be recited Monday, Aug 20 at 9:15AM followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St Joseph Church followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery.
