About Me	After high school, I went into the Air Force. While at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, I contracted strep throat which settled in my kidneys and I was discharged. I then went to SRJC and Sonoma State,graduating in 1970 with a B.A degree in Psychology. In 1972, I moved to San Francisco and started my career in the travel industry and then In 1974, I walked a 1,800 mile marathon to raise money for a Mexican Orphanage. Returning to San Francisco, I worked for a receptive travel company and then started my own company in 1977. During these years, I ran a summer camp for underprivileged children every summer. In 1985, I opened a second company in Thailand and moved to Thailand. In 1989 I was arrested on false charges of running a sex tour business. After two years in various prisons and being exonerated by both American and Thai courts (See my book: "The Poison River", I moved back to San Francisco and in 1993 went into the hotel business. In 2000, I was hired to work in a hotel and restaurants in Saigon, Vietnam. In 2006, I became the General Manager of the Pandanus Resort in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, where I remained until retirement in 2016.
