About Me	Gia creates, teaches, and performs with relentless devotion and attention- bridging her yogic practices with her life as artist and teacher. She has been teaching piano, singing and acting for almost 20 years. Gia is also a productive poet and accomplished theatre dancer, specializing in the repertoire of Bob Fosse. A proud company member of General Mischief Dance Theatre in NYC. She received her BA in psychology/English from NYU, honors in classical voice/piano from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, with further medical studies at Columbia University. Gia also spent some intermittent years working in neuroscience at NYU Medical Center. After meeting at The Living Theatre in 2010, she joined artistic director Carlo Altomare in re-establishing The Alchemical Theatre (1981-). Together they lovingly run Alchemical Theatre Laboratory, theatre venue and affordable creative studios in NYC.
