About Me	I went to university in Scotland, and married a fellow theology student. We went to Dublin where he trained for ordination in the Anglican (Episcopal) Church. We spent two years in Belfast where he was a curate, then he became an army chaplain and we went to Germany, England, Cyprus, and Northern Ireland. While he was a chaplain at Sandhurst and Shrivenham I did my PhD in Belfast and was awarded two postdoctoral fellowships. We went to Germany again, then left the army and went to Italy for two years before coming to a parish in Ireland, where I was able to re-establish my academic links. I have written, published and edited extensively in early church history. We moved to Julianstown, south Drogheda in 2010, and have a Jack Russell terrier. My Linkedin profile is 'Janet Elaine Rutherford'. In November 2015 we are moving to Kinsale, Co. Cork, which will bring back memories of Monterey! I've posted some photos of the harbour; Kinsale is very historical and cultural, and worth looking up online.
