About Me	I have been a marketing, brand and public relations specialist for the past 40 years. Since 2009 I have been the Sr. Director of Marketing and PR at Franke Tobey Jones, a continuing care retirement community in Tacoma, WA. Aside from my work at Franke Tobey Jones, I’m also very involved with LeadingAge Washington which is a non-profit state organization dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging people and empowers them to live fully as they age. For LeadingAge WA I serve as the Co-Chair of the Marketing Professionals Group, am the team leader for the Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards program and serve as a Leadership Institute Coach. Music has remained my passion since high school, both singing and playing the piano, which you can read more about below under interests. Before joining Franke Tobey Jones, I was the Vice President of Marketing for Jenamar Communities for five years where I developed the brand and marketing program for Jubilee, an active adult community in Lacey, WA and Los Lunas, NM. My other marketing experience includes nearly ten years with Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company as the Director of Marketing at Northwest Landing (a 3,000 acre master planned community) in DuPont, WA and eleven years marketing regional shopping centers in four states (CA, NV, UT, HI). I have a BA Degree from the University of Washington (Seattle) with a major in communications. Through the National Association of Home Builders I earned both a MIRM designation (Masters of Residential Marketing) and CSP (Certified New Home Sales Professionals). Through the International Council of Shopping Centers I earned a CMD designation (Certified Marketing Director). I spent eight years with Toastmasters International where I earned an ATM designation (Advanced Toastmaster) as well as an AL designation (Advanced Leader). In Toastmasters I served in many leadership roles including District Governor where I oversaw 60 clubs and 250 leaders in Western Washington.
