Graduated Monterey High School in June of 1968. Attended 1 1/2 of College and Monterey Peninsula College, then enlisted in the United States Air Force 24 September 1969 as a Security Policeman. Did a tour in Vietnam from Aug 70 - Aug 7 & Goose Bay Labrador from April 74 - April 75. Was discharged at Francis E. Warren AFB Wyoming in June of 1976 and immediately enlisted in the Wyoming Air National Guard on a full time basis. Served as the Commander of the 153rd Weapons System Security Flight and retired as a Major in March 1990. Was Hired in May 1990 as a Deputy Sheriff for Campbell County, Gillette, Wyoming. In April 1992 earned the Medal of Valor, the departments highest award for services above and beyond the call of duty in a combat situation. Retired in January 2010. Was rehired by the Sheriff's Department as a Main Control Clerk in December 2010 to present.
