August 17:
We will meet on Friday at historic Modern Woodman Park (formally John O’Donnel Stadium). Modern Woodman Park is a QC gem that has been named Baseball’s Best Minor League Stadium. Free parking at the ball park. We will watch the game from the Budweiser Champions Club located on the Third Base side. The suite is climate controlled with indoors/outdoors seating overlooking the Mississippi river and downtown Davenport. Price of $30 pp includes: Game; and Ball Park Menu of hotdogs, brats, cole slaw, chips, cookies, canned soda, water, and lemonade. Cash bar available in suite. Fireworks over the river after the game! This is the best bargain in baseball!
August 18:
Saturday night (6pm - ??) we will gather at City View. City View (701 – 12th St. Moline) is a new venue built by the Trimble family. We will be located in the lower level with great views of down town Moline. There is ample free parking on site.
We have chosen a buffet with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres $30 pp. Cash bar.
