Ray Toal ,class of '81

Ray Toal ,class of '81 has been chosen as "Carnegue Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching' college professor of the year for the state of California.Ray is professor of computer science and electrical engineering at Loyola Marymount University.Ray graduated from Mission Viejo Highschool, class of '81 and received his PHD in computeer science from UCLA in 1991 and has been teaching at LMU since then as well as consulting with industrial firms.He has published many articles and is presently working on an undergraduate text book .

An Alum on American Idol

FYI, Mission Viejo High alum, Sabrina Sloan, made it to the Hollywood round on American Idol 6. Sabrina, (maiden name Scherff) was a '97 graduate. They start showing the Hollywood round on Feb. 13th.
