Jim was a very special friend, good natured who took pranks well when being teased about his height. Jim and I shared the same birthdate and also shared the same sports car(Triumph) along with Rick Eastman. We went on trips together, LA and Mazatlan Mexico were Jim surfed with Herb Brendlen. When Jim lived at home, his bedroom was downstairs in the garage which we used for libation before going to the Gaslight in San Mateo or Tiger-a-go-go at the airport Hilton. I wish I could have spent more time with Jim before his passing. He is missed!

Jim and I. Early '70s. He just returned from his motorcycle adventure through Africa, India, the Middle East, Southern Europe, England, then shipped the bike to the US and rode cross country to Burlingame. I think the journey took him two years. Whew! Pardon the photo condition. I've carried it folded in my wallet for the past 56yrs.
