Hillary Victoria Tungseth Lucas (Linda Kathleen Lucas), 72, of Greensboro, NC (previously of Vancouver, WA), died Jan. 30, 2021. She was born Dec. 5, 1948, in Seattle, WA, to Paul and Eleonor Tungseth and adopted by Frank and Marian Lucas.
Hillary graduated from Mills High School in Millbrae, CA, in 1967 and double majored in Spanish and education, receiving her degree from Lewis and Clark College in 1972. She ran a daycare and owned/operated a retail shop before becoming a stay-at-home mother.
Hillary married Bruce Kangas in 1973 in Portland, OR. Bruce preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include daughter, Kirsten Bullins; adopted brother, Joseph Lucas; and two biological sisters and a brother.
