Nhan Vo
Class of 1991
National Guard, 17 Years
Initially served four years in the Navy (1991-1995)after high school graduation and continued military service with the PA Air National Guard - 193rd Specail Operations Wing (1999-present).
During my service in the Navy, I was stationed out of Norfolk, VA on the USS Nassau (LHA-4) and served as a Yeoman (administration). I was proud to be a part of the tail end of the first Gulf War and contributing to the Haiti Block-Aid. I was also priviledged to have the opporunity to travel all over the world and my most favorite place was Barcelona, Spain.
In the Air National Guard, I served the vast majority of my career in the IT community. at the 193rd Special Operations Wing. Again, I am proud to have served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom over in the middle east region during my service. I am truly grateful for the experience, knowledge and commoraderie obtained throughout this venture.
My awards are as follows:

3. AF Outstanding Unit Award
4. Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal
5. National Defense Service Medal
6. Global War on Terrorism Service Medal
