Retired in 1981. Served as a Sonar Technician on Destroyers on both East and West Coast. Last tour of duty on a Minesweeper. Made many "Westpac" cruises, a couple "Med" cruises and two shore duty orders in 19 yrs 6 mos. A great experience that I enjoyed, most of the time.
