| About Me | "Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness." - Napoleon Hill I am a wife, mother, grandmother and Independent Distributor with It Works! Global. I enjoy my boston terriers. Most important are my family and friends. Hi, we are Jeanie and David Morgan from Delaware. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, David since 1976. We have four wonderful children, our daughter, Jody and our son, David. Our daughter-in-law, Jenny and our daughter’s boyfriend, Josh are our other two children. We are grandparents for the first time to a beautiful grandaughter born February 15, 2008. We also have a handsome grandson born May 6, 2009. Having our own business has always been a part of our lives. Sales has been a business that I have always enjoyed. Together, my husband and I have owned a lawn & landscape business for over 28 years, a lawnmower repair shop for a short period and a produce stand for 6 years. These have all gave us great experiences, fed our family and kept a roof over our head. At the same time, I was able to be a stay at home mom because I took care of the book work for the businesses. However, there has been a lot of hard labor and lots of time involved. Our goal was to be able to be with our children so needless to say they learned to work at a young age whether it was with their Dad working the lawn business or with me working at the produce stand. Then in 2003 my husband took a full time job as an arborist for a local municipality. It has definitely been a different lifestyle for us. In 2006 our lives changed when I bought this great smelling gourmet clean burning candle, brought it home and burned it. I was so impressed with the fact that there was no black soot and the long lasting fragrance that lasted all the way to the bottom. I went on a mission on my computer to learn more about this candle. First I learned candles are a 3 billion dollar industry and over 90% of household’s burn candles. I learned that it was made from natural waxes, had cotton wicks and I could start my own business selling them from home. I decided I wanted to share this candle with others. I knew this was the way I could work from home, earn money and keep my same routines. I had heard and read about people that were doing just that....working from home and living a normal life. I made the decision to join the company in July, 2006. My Husband joined my team August, 2007 I made a commitment to educate myself on this company and their products and to pursue my dreams. This company is in a fast growing industry and offers a product that most people use and want. I am also earning money through residual income from getting on the phone and talking to people about our great company and products. When I found out about all the opportunities the company has to offer-Retail, Home Parties, Craft/Vendor Shows, Fundraising, and Residual income from team building-I was thrilled. I work my business from home on the internet most of the time and this way I...(read more) |
