Donations needed!

North is currently trying to raise money for an LED marquee to replace the old sign in the front of the school. Almost every school in Middletown except North has one. They need $16,000 and have only raised about $800. Please consider making a donation to the fund. Any amount would help. To make a donation, go to I hope everyone is doing well!!

Seeking Mrs. Anne Ford's forme

Mrs. Anne Ford, who taught English and Journalism and advised the Lion's Roar newpaper at North from about 1983 to 1993, is retiring from teaching this year. [She left North to move to CA with family and when she returned to Middletown, she took an open position at South.]

If you are one of Mrs. Ford's former students, we would love to hear from you. We are creating a scrap book of memories to honor her career. For Mrs. Ford, her wonderful students were the best part of teaching--your memories of her work would be priceless.

You might write a sentence or two (or more, of course) about anything. Here are some ideas:

1) The trials of putting out the newspaper
2) Something you remember her saying to or teaching you
3) Funny moments
4) Accomplishments you¢re proud of like awards from Columbia, etc.
5) What you¢ll remember about her
6) Thanking her for her work
7) Anything else you think she would enjoy having in a memory book

Please email or call Mrs. Ford's daughter Brynnen with any thoughts you might have. If we could hear from you by Sunday, June 15, that would be wonderful. Please send your memories even if it's after that date, however. Thank you!
