Paul Richard Darby, 55, of Broadway Newport, passed at Forest Farm Health Care Center. Born to Paul L. and Beverly G. (Fifield) Darby of Middletown, RI.
Mr. Darby was a 1967 graduate of Middletown High School, where he played in the band. He also attended Miami Dade Junior College in Miami, FL. Mr. Darby had worked at the Newport County Community Mental Health Center. He had played in the Newport Concert Band and he was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Middletown. Mr. Darby enjoyed all sports and played varsity tennis and bowling at Middletown High School. He will be rememberd for his kindness and gentleness.
