Dianne Shaughnessy
Sadly, Dianne MHS (62) died in 1997 of gallbladder cancer. She left behind her husband Joe Amato and two adult sons. I'm not sure if the reunion committee had ever received this information.

H.C. Thrall Shade Tobacco Growers,Windsor Locks, Conn.
Hi, I am Elizabeth Cisneros Zettle, MHS 1961. One summer I traveled with a group of high school girls to work for a Shade Tobacco Grower Company in Connecticut. I remember getting the info and application off a bulletin board at MHS. It was a grand experience. We traveled by bus in June and returned home in August. I wish so badly to find another girl that had this experience. I have no keepsakes to reference this marvelous time in my life. We had two (teachers) that were our chaperones the entire summer and we lived in a two story white house in the country......East Harland, Conn. That summer, a major movie called "Parrish" was being filmed on our Tobacco farm. The actor was Troy Donaghue. He was a heartthrob in "A Summer Place" with Sandra Dee. Us high school girls got to be in the end of the film as extras, running across a field. (No one could recognize us).
Ever heard of this event?
Yours truly, Elizabeth Cisneros Zettle
