| About Me | I dropped out of HS as a junior, joined the Army and spent 8 years traveling and doing the insane stuff military service meant we did. Then the Army decided they didn't like me smoking weed and they booted me, my wife and 4 kids out of the military. After the Army I went to college and became a history and computer teacher, teaching at public and private schools, rising up the ranks and becoming a tenure-track computer science professor. I left academia and took a computer science job in Venice, Italy and started doing commercial work -- much better pay and way more fun than education! Along the way I remarried and had a son in second family. I've worked all across the US in both commercial computer science and education in both corporate and college environments. Traveled to all 50 states, lived in places like Europe or the RMI on a tiny tropical island 100 yards wide in the western Pacific just above the equator.
