| About Me | I am a Partner Relations Director at Convoy of Hope, one of the top faith-based, non-profit organizations in the country serving others through community outreaches, children’s feeding initiatives and disaster relief. My personal belief is that we are all in a position of leadership and if we are to succeed at being leaders in the workplace, home or even over ourselves, we need to be thoughtful, well prepared and intentional. I believe that the word leadership should be preceded by the word servant. Therefore I enjoy writing on servant leadership, family, compassion and purposeful living. BIO A part-time job in the automotive industry starting in 1996 turned into a successful career for over 10 years as an automotive management executive managing large retail operations for Lexus, Toyota, Acura and Honda through some of the largest publicly and privately held auto retailers in the country. In 2006, I successfully launched a private automotive dealership specializing in older luxury vehicles as well as a start-up automotive software company that went public in early 2007. Following a stint as an acting CEO for small and micro-cap public companies, I worked in the nutraceutical industry as a vice-president of business development for a large, direct-to-consumer retailer until entering the non-profit world full-time in June of 2011.
