Joined the Army in June 1968 as a private and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in Dec 1969. Left active duty in Dec 71 and joined the Army Reserve.
Retired in 1996 as a Colonel.

Navy, 18 Years
Presently a Senior Chief Electrician's Mate stationed overseas in Yokosuka, Japan enjoying some shore duty with my wife and two children before I go back on a ship in 2011. I provide training (Engineering and 3M Maintenance) and inspect ships that are here. I have been stationed in Orlando, Florida; Charleston, SC; La Maddalena, Italy; Great Lakes, IL; San Diego, CA; Pascagoula, MS. All in all, I have learned a lot and will eventually settle in San Diego. I like the weather and have lots of friends over there.
