Robert G. Hormell, 73 of Center Harbor, NH died on January 15, 2020 after a courageous lengthy battle with several health issues.
Born in Melrose, MA on November 22, 1946, he was the son of Dr. Robert S. and Catherine (McManus) Hormell. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister Jane (Hormell) Kaih, formerly of Meredith, NH and his brother Mark Hormell of Ashland, NH.
George Hormel of Dover, NH is his only surviving sibling.
Bob attended Belknap college in Center Harbor, NH. After earning his master's degree at Northeastern University and doing doctoral studies at Boston University, he focused on helping many developmentally disabled adults as a psychologist.
Bob is survived by his children, Nathan Q. Hormell of Oklahoma City, OK, Elizabeth I. Hormell of Laconia, NH and his devoted commpanion of 30 years, Bonnie (MacLoed) Scalzi of Center Harbor, NH., many nieces and nephews along with his former wife Patricia Quinn of Pheonix, AZ.
