Spent my time in Vietnam from 1969 -1970 on PBR Mobile Base 2. About 60 miles north west of Saigon. Also spent 4 month in DaNang on a Bulk Fuel Depot at the airbase.(better known as rocket alley}The Army replaced us and thats how I ended up on the river.

I served for over 20 years in the United States Navy. The wisdom and knowledge I received while serving my country will never be forgotten. It allowed me to travel to places I would have never seen and experience life at all different levels. I am still in touch with most of people I have met over the years, friendships that will never be broken.

Started out four years in USMC (76-80) working on electronic test equipment and weapon systems (TOW, Dragon). After college commissioned in the Army and have served 28 years in the Vermont Army National Guard. Current rank is Colonel. Have done two tours to Afghanistan (2005-2006, 2010).
