| About Me | SEARCHING FOR MY DOBBINS RELATIVES FROM MISSISSIPPI. Paternal grandmother was Bertha Mae Dobbins (abt 1892 MS-1928 MS), married George Walker Oct 1921 in Arkansas. Bertha was George's 2nd wife and she was about 30 years younger than he. They had one child, my dad, Claude Walker, in 1924, Parkin, Cross County, Arkansas. I was born in Oakland, Alameda County, CA, grew up in Oakland and Richmond, CA. Attended 10th grade at Mack in Oakland, but graduated from JFK High in Richmond in 1969. Attended college but graduated from business school and entered the work force in 1971. Worked for small business, federal government, and retired after 26 years from SBC Pac Bell/AT&T in 2005.
