On Saturday, September 30, 2017 hundreds of McClymonds High School graduates and friends will merge on DeFremery Park in West Oakland to
Celebrate 27 years of all graduates reunion. A full day of food, music, dance
perfomances, horseback riding, and much more..
Jesse Brown’s “Purple Smoke Band” will highlight the stream of entertainers, which include: Terrible Tom Bowden, Lady Sunrise, Loretta Gooden, Nat Bolen & Sharon Davis, Margie Turner, Wilbert McAlister, Jacquie Cole, Willie G,
Earnestine Barze, James Brooks, Mz. Sumac, Fillmore Slim, and Elmina Green.
There will be “Praise Dancing” teams, “2UWeDance Praise Team, and “Anointed with Praise”. The “Bay Area Line Dancers will perform along with The Mighty High Drill Team & Drum Squad. All of the above performers are donating their time to the “McClymonds High School Annual Gathering” free of charge to make this event a success.
