I was a BM3 (boatswainsmate) . I did line handling and rigging, crane ops, snall boat ops. Helmsman and lee helmsman, some quatermaster, My ship was a sub-tender stationed in San Diego, then went to Guam to Port Operations, There I met my spouse and been married for 22 yrs now.

Awarded Honor Man upon graduation from Boot Camp, and went on to qualify with Force Recon Special Forces. I suffered injuries during operations, and went through a long recovery period before Honorably discharged in 1969.

Active Duty Patriot Missile System Crewmember 14T/14E and Patriot Systems Evaluator 14Z from 1987 to 2005. 2005 to 2012 Operations Sergeant Major 31B50. OIF 2009-2011 Basra Iraq. Retired 31 Dec 2012.
