About Me	I enlisted in the Army and attended Basic Training in August 2004. I attended AIT to become a Combat Medic / EMT October 2004 - February 2005. I attended Airborne School in March 2005 and reported to my first duty station in April 2005. I was assigned to C CO, 782nd BSB, 4th BCT, 82nd ABN DIV, Fort Bragg, NC. I was attached to 3/504 PIR with Task Force Blue Devil from June 2005 - August 2005. In September 2005 I was deployed to Hurrican Katrina in New Orleans, LA. In June of 2006 I left active duty and reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point as a cadet. I attended school there for the next 47 months. While at the Academy I sang and travelled in the Glee Club, was on the Sandhurst team, and played intramural soccer. In June 2008 I attended Air Assault School, and in July 2008 I taught Combatives at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. I spent the month of August 2009 in Alaska doing GIS research with the YUMA Proving Grounds Cold Regions Test Center. I graduated from the Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Sciences May 2010. I attended Pathfinder School at Fort Campbell, KY in July 2010 and then proceeded to Fort Leonard Wood, MO for the Military Police Basic Officer Leadership Course from August - December 2010. In January 2011 I reported to Fort Campbell, KY, and was assigned as 1st Platoon Leader, 561st MP CO, 716th MP BN, 101st SBDE. I was married and spent the month of May 2011 in Italy. In July 2011 I deployed with my platoon to Police Substation 1, Kandahar City, Afghanistan, where I took over Subdistrict 1, the heart of Kandahar. My platoon was responsible for the mentorship of the Afghan forces, development of the government, and the security of the local people. In December 2011 I was assigned to work as XO of 58th MP CO at Camp Nathan Smith, Afghanistan.
