Russ excelled in the military. He traveled the world and served 18 months in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sadly Russ passed away August 6, 2006. He was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.

The best 24 years of my life were spent in the Air Force. Spent alot of time overseas in some pretty great places and some that were not so great. My first 6 years were wild doing time in a Para-Rescue Unit. Hurt my back in a HALO jump going into Grenada. The rest is history.
