About Me	Born and raised in Michigan, I came out west to start a new life. Little did I know the life I'd be living now would be so full of love, friendship and experiences I never thought possible for me to have. A naturalist, I find within nature as interconnected reality, the beauty, power and derived ethical life that is fully meaningful and transcendent to any single life I may live. For over two decades I dwelled in fundamentalism and found that while there was meaning to be had, to do so required giving up on the best that humanity intrinsically possesses. From Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI I gained a thorough understanding of theology and later went on to get a master's in forensic psychology from Walden University, though my studies have also included counseling psychology and interpersonal dynamics. I am of the mindset that truth will know truth no matter how deeply or how far you look. The philosophic spirit of skeptical uncertainty pushes me to always broaden my understanding of the unknown. The principles of science give me a means of analyzing my experience. The queries of humanism and the foundation of relational dynamics give me constant impetus to grow my awareness. My defining quote is from Bertrand Russell: "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life; the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind."
