| About Me | raised 2 children, was a stay at home mom, helped to start and worked in 2 church affiliated preschools that are still operating!, worked in accounting for 15+ yrs. I've met amazing people, from the homeless to the very wealthy, worked with craftspeople from all over Appalachia, sold my 'country crafts & goodies' through a catalog all over through 'Made in the U.S.A', met amazing artist, storytellers, musicians, and speakers and figureds out that individually, we are all the homeless, the wealthy, the most and the least, combined into one person...just different parts shine. From the homeless I learned strength, kindness, from the poor I learned gratuity, from the wealthy I learned to give of myself, from the talented I learned to share my threads of art and hope through my work and to appreciate the small things. From the speakers I learned first to find out more about them as a person so to understand the perspective of their words and from the musicians I learned to let the music flow like a river so the words could become the story of the storyteller.
