| About Me | I graduated from college a year early with a double major in statistics and computer science. Shortly after college graduation, I moved to Texas and got married. For just over 2 years, I worked at a local bank. We were then relocated north of Dallas. I quickly found a position as a programmer for a division of Johnson & Johnson. We remained in Sherman for approximately 9 years at which time my husband was relocated to Cleburne, south of Fort Worth. Fortunately at the same time J&J asked me to transfer to the Arlington (between Fort Worth and Dallas) location. Since the commute from Sherman was impossible, we built a home in Joshua, just south of Fort Worth. I remained at J&J until 2000. In June of 2000, J&J announced to 350 of us that as of 9/1/00 only 50 of us would have a position. I was one of the 50 asked to stay. However I knew the facility would not remain for long. By November I had resigned my position and joined Alcon, a leading eye care manufacturer. During the course of six years, I've been promoted from a senior analyst to an IT manager. Since moving to Joshua, I've been involved with the kids. Both have played soccer since age 4. For four years I served on the soccer association board as the registrar.
