From my aspect, he was a somewhat quiet/reserved guy. A good person with great character.

Going that far back, I recall one event when we were care free of any responsibilities and a drag race took place between Tom and Bill Graham. I can’t recall exactly if it happened in the morning or after school but Tom was using his dad’s 1959 Chevy and and Bill Graham was driving a 1956 Ford. Both of them revved up their engines at the starting line and then dropped their automatics into drive which to this date was a no no because they could have easily destroyed their automatic transmissions. Kind of reminds me a tiny tiny bit of American Graffiti and of course Bill lost!!
